Duties: Work is divided in 2 phases of 6 weeks each. The first consists of marking/demonstrating 5 one week laboratories. In the second each TA oversees 2 design teams as they prepare their final project. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Duties: Several TAs will be expected to lead tutorial sessions, which will include working through examples, addressing student questions, and engaging students in their learning of electromagnetic waves. Several TAs will be expected to supervise laboratory sessions, where students conduct experiments in transmission lines and optics. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. TAs must have a proven, solid command of electromagnetic waves. Those leading tutorials must be familiar with mathematical analysis and physical understanding. Those leading laboratory sessions must have hands-on experience and physical understanding. All TA applicants should be enthusiastic about engaging students in learning about EM waves.

Duties: Provide laboratory support, perform lab demonstrations in the power laboratory and grade laboratory reports. Lab sections run in the afternoons between 13:30 and 17:30. Excellent knowledge of electromechanical energy conversion principles and experimental methods in power are necessary. The candidates should have superior communication skills. Duties: Providing support for the project (demoing tools needed for the project and tutoring), marking midterm exams. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Are you a Maven maven? Are you a Docker rockstar? Then this TA position is just for you! In Software Delivery, students are taught about the internals of build and infrastructure tools like Maven, Docker, and Puppet, as well as the fundamentals of how modern release pipelines are designed and operated (e.g., blue-green deployment, canary releasing, continuous integration, deployment, delivery, and experimentation). The ideal TA for this course is: (1) comfortable with public speaking (since they will delivering tutorial material); and (2) able to demonstrate command of the material (not necessarily from having taken ECSE 437). In addition, prior experience with demoing, tutoring, and grading would be valuable.
